ADELAIDE BEER & BBQ FESTIVAL; Helping South Australians drink better since 2015
PAST FESTIVALS
BBF has welcomed international brewers from all over the world including very special collabs with Brew Dog (in 2018 with 5 Australian breweries) and Collective Arts (in 2019 with 6 Australian breweries). BBF has hosted the Royal Adelaide Beer & Cider Awards in each year to kick off proceedings at the festival and now in total has been host to over 300 individual breweries.
Our BBQ programme has seen highlights such as Rodney Scott (USA), Matty Matheson (Canada) who came back twice (!), Duncan Welgemoed (Africola), Jock Zonfrillo (fmrly Orana), Morgan McGlone (Bells Hot Chicken), Shannon Martinez (Smith & Daughters), Benjamin Cooper (Chin Chin), Mick Patrick (Fancy Hanks), Annaliese Gregory (fmrly Franklin), Simon Bryant and many, many more.
On stage we have been graced by Regurgitator, Frenzal Rhomb, The Preatures, Jen Cloher, DJ Yella (NWA), Holy Holy, Hockey Dad, West Thebarton, The Superjesus, Bob Evans, The John Steele Singers, Panama, Gooch Palms, Mojo Juju, Maddy Jane, Ali Barter, Ecca Vandal, You Am I, Sampology, Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, Moaning Lisa, VOIID, Wolf & Cub, Towns, Teenage Joans and dozens more.
Beer & BBQ Festival is a unique hybrid event. Conceived over a beer, born in the Brick Dairy Pavilion at the Adelaide Showground in July 2015 and nurtured into the troublesome toddler it is now.
BBF is equal parts beer, BBQ and music; we believe what goes down your throat is just as important as what goes into your ears and eyes.
BBF is a community and we rely on the talent that comes to ply their wares at our festival.
